The King Air 200 succeeds the King Air 100. The King Air 200 is recognizable by its low/straight wing, with twin wing mounted, 4 bladed turboprop engines and incorporates a swept T-tail with swept horizontal stabilizer. These structural differences allow for higher maximum pressurization as well extra fuel capacity and increased rate of climb. These faster cruise speeds reduce time on air frame and engine use.

The King Air 200 has a capacity of 8 passengers with a 1-2 flight man crew. It has a typical corporate seating layout that can seat 6 people in the main cabin. This model can carry more in a comfy and luxurious cabin, operates from shorter fields, and costs less to operate than other models.
